We initially performed thermal room mapping of 25 production facility rooms and compiled a detailed thermal survey report for each area.

These reports then formed the basis for the supply, installation and commissioning of a Honeywell Experion PKS SCADA system complete with server redundancy and numerous workstations integrated with the Honeywell HC900 controllers.

Vaisala RH and Temperature Sensors were connected to the HC900 controllers which were configured to monitor all readings and trip alarm beacons depending on operator set alarm limits for each room.

The Experion SCADA system performed the trending all room temperatures and humidity values as well as integrating dewpoint sensors located throughout the plant as well as providing time stamped events & alarm data to comply with 21 CFR Part 11.

The control system included the following:

• Honeywell Experion SCADA system comprising server redundancy and operator workstations.
• Honeywell HC900 Controller, including Input / Output modules, connected to servers via Ethernet / Modbus TCP.
• Vaisala RH / Temperature Sensors.
